Welcome to Payne Bible College, the place where you can experience the Word of God in principle, word, theory and life. You will experience a Bible-centered learning community as you pursue a degree that will prepare you to minister with your life and the lives of others in view! Founded in 1970, Payne Bible College exists for the purpose of educating Christian men and women to live according to a biblical worldview and to serve through ministry in a professional Christian and Godly way. The philosophy of this college education centers in the development of the total being, body soul and spirit. It is to develop one academically in heart; to help grow spiritually, and in practice with hands on for a prepared servant of Jesus Christ.
Most of the courses are just five to six weeks in length and usually three semester credits are earned per course. Courses can be taken up to six or ten simultaneous. You must have at least 45 college credits to qualify for our Degree Completion Program. The degree doctoral programs require a completion of an entire program online and there are no on-campus requirements for this program, other than a graduation ceremony. Also, besides taking courses, a degree completion program may require students to have additional credits from prior life learning’s experiences. These credits can be from a number of different sources, work ministries’ experiences, military training, workshops, seminars, self-study, noncredit classes, licenses, training programs, work/profession experiences and by examination. Please note that it is the learning from these sources that is evaluated and results in credit hours being awarded.
Instructional modules are scheduled in a way that allows you to fit the program into an already busy lifestyle. In fact, students enrolled in the online program can complete their weekly assignments at times convenient to them. A module is taken at a time and some group of students’ progresses through the program together. Often, there is an online chat room.
In the Degree Completion Program you will be able to:
· Complete a bachelor's degree in as few as 15 months depending on the number of credits you transfer into the program.
· Complete a Doctor 's degree in as few as 24 months depending on the number of credits you transfer into the program.
· Improve communication and other leadership’s ministry skills and strengthen other position in the job market.
· Receive individualized instruction and specific attention in any challenging areas.
· Gain satisfaction in fulfilling your educational goal.
